About This Opportunity
The They Take Care of Them program is offered by the School of Education and the Menomonee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin to students in UWM's Counseling Doctoral Program. The goal of the program is to eradicate the community's opioid crisis by increasing access to culturally appropriate and trauma-informed, co-occurring treatment (substance use and mental health). Eligible doctoral participants receive a stipend.
