Transnasjonale forsker-initierte kliniske studier innenfor kardiovaskulære, autoimmune og metabolske sykdommer (Trials4Health 2026)

The Research Council of Norway and the regional health authorities jointly announce 1.2 million euros for transnational investigator-initiated clinical trials. The purpose is to support and enable transnational collaboration between clinical research environments on investigator-initiated clinical trials. The studies must focus on cardiovascular, autoimmune or metabolic diseases, be randomized, and designed as pragmatic comparative effectiveness studies and/or new use of existing drugs. ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network) offers support for planning and implementing multinational clinical trials and must be contacted by November 30 if the consortium wishes to use this support. By using ECRIN, the consortium can apply for additional funding of up to 15% of the budget.
