Widening Participation Postgraduate Scholarship 2026/2027
The Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London offers a limited number of MRes scholarships worth £4,999, open to all students regardless of country of origin. These scholarships are designed to support widening participation at the postgraduate level. Successful applicants will receive a one-off cash bursary of £4,999 that is not to be applied towards tuition fees, providing financial support for living costs or other expenses. Unite Foundation Scholarship

The Sir Simon Robertson Scholarship

Successful scholars will be expected to meet with donors on occasions and submit an annual progress report.
The Satinder Kaur and Dr Narinder Singh Kapany Scholarship
Imperial College London offers The Satinder Kaur and Dr Narinder Singh Kapany Scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year. Established in 2024, this scholarship was named in honour of Imperial alumnus Dr Narinder Singh-Kapany and his wife Mrs Satinder Kaur. The scholarship aims to support financially disadvantaged, Sikh students undertaking a master's (MSc) course of study within the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences or Business School. The scholarship provides a maintenance grant of £19,580 to one successful applicant for the 2025/26 academic year. Applicants are ranked based on academic merit and financial need, and must identify as being a member of the Sikh community. The scholarship is available for both Home and Overseas students who have an offer to study an eligible master's degree beginning in Autumn 2025.

The Rolls-Royce Engineering Scholarship for Energy Efficient Technologies

The Lee Family Scholarships
The Lee Family Scholarships support outstanding doctoral students from mainland China or Hong Kong pursuing PhD degrees at Imperial College London. The scholarship provides comprehensive funding for up to 3.5 years, covering full tuition fees, an annual stipend of £26,500, and a consumables budget to support research. Candidates must be classified as Overseas for fee status and ordinarily reside in mainland China or Hong Kong (excluding Taiwan). The application process requires prospective PhD students to approach departments and potential supervisors with their proposed projects before submitting a complete PhD admissions application by 12 January 2026. Departments will nominate candidates based on academic merit and potential, and Imperial's Selection Panel will make final award decisions. Applicants must not intend to exercise their skills obtained from the PhD in the UK after completing their studies.

The John and Rita Henke Scholarship

The Egyptian Bureau for Cultural & Educational Affairs PhD Scholarships
The Egyptian Bureau for Cultural & Educational Affairs PhD Scholarships program provides funding for Egyptian nationals to pursue full-time doctoral studies at Imperial College London. The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the duration of the PhD program, excluding the writing-up year and any active research period extensions. In line with the agreement between The Egyptian Bureau for Cultural & Educational Affairs and Imperial College London, Imperial will cover 30% of tuition fees for successful applicants.
