UKRI AI for Healthcare CDT Studentship

The Tarapada and Nirmala Basu Scholarship for the Use of AI to Benefit Developing Countries

Imperial College London is pleased to announce The Tarapada and Nirmala Basu Scholarship for Research on the Use of AI to Benefit Developing Countries for the 2025/26 academic year. Established in 2024 by Imperial alumnus Professor Amiya Basu (PhD Civil Engineering, Class of 1964), The Tarapada and Nirmala Basu Scholarship was named in honour of his parents and seeks to support a student with an interest in harnessing the potential of Artificial Intelligence to benefit developing countries. This scholarship is available for Home and Overseas students who have an offer to study eligible master's programmes within the Department of Computing, beginning in autumn 2025. The scholarship provides a £10,000 cash bursary to one successful applicant. Applicants are ranked based on academic merit, familiarity with AI and how it may be used to benefit developing countries, and financial need.

The Sir Simon Robertson Scholarship

The Sir Simon Robertson Scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduate students entering the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College London. The scholarship provides a cash bursary of £8,000 per annum for up to 4 years, excluding repeat periods of study. Two scholarships are available each year to support talented students from lower-income households. The award aims to support Home students who have been assessed for financial support and have a household income of less than £70,000 per annum. Recipients are selected based on academic merit as assessed from their predicted A-Level results and UCAS application form. The scholarship is available to students entering any department within the Faculty of Engineering, including Aeronautics, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computing, Design Engineering, Earth Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials, and Mechanical Engineering. Successful scholars will be expected to meet with donors on occasions and submit an annual progress report.

The Satinder Kaur and Dr Narinder Singh Kapany Scholarship

The scholarship provides a maintenance grant of £19,580 to one successful applicant for the 2025/26 academic year. Applicants are ranked based on academic merit and financial need, and must identify as being a member of the Sikh community. The scholarship is available for both Home and Overseas students who have an offer to study an eligible master's degree beginning in Autumn 2025.

The Rolls-Royce Engineering Scholarship for Energy Efficient Technologies

The Lee Family Scholarships

The Lee Family Scholarships support outstanding doctoral students from mainland China or Hong Kong pursuing PhD degrees at Imperial College London. The scholarship provides comprehensive funding for up to 3.5 years, covering full tuition fees, an annual stipend of £26,500, and a consumables budget to support research. Three scholarships are available for the 2026/27 academic year. The scholarships are available across four faculties: Engineering, Medicine, Natural Sciences, and the Imperial Business School. Candidates must be classified as Overseas for fee status and ordinarily reside in mainland China or Hong Kong (excluding Taiwan). The application process requires prospective PhD students to approach departments and potential supervisors with their proposed projects before submitting a complete PhD admissions application by 12 January 2026. Departments will nominate candidates based on academic merit and potential, and Imperial's Selection Panel will make final award decisions. Applicants must not intend to exercise their skills obtained from the PhD in the UK after completing their studies.

The Kalyan Scholarship in Engineering

The John and Rita Henke Scholarship

The scholarship provides a bursary of £16,250 per annum for up to 4 years to support students studying in the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College London. The scholarship is specifically designed to support students who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom with Home fee status and have a disability as defined in the Equality Act 2010. Only one scholarship is awarded each year to a prospective student starting in the Faculty of Engineering who demonstrates financial need with a household income of £60,000 or less. Recipients must be starting their studies in the specified academic year, and the award cannot be deferred. Continuation of the scholarship is subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress throughout the duration of study.

The Holligrave Scholarship

The Holligrave Scholarship

The Graham Wallace Scholarship

The Egyptian Bureau for Cultural & Educational Affairs PhD Scholarships

The Egyptian Bureau for Cultural & Educational Affairs PhD Scholarships program provides funding for Egyptian nationals to pursue full-time doctoral studies at Imperial College London. The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the duration of the PhD program, excluding the writing-up year and any active research period extensions. In line with the agreement between The Egyptian Bureau for Cultural & Educational Affairs and Imperial College London, Imperial will cover 30% of tuition fees for successful applicants. Five scholarships are available for the 2026/2027 academic year across a wide range of departments including engineering, medicine, natural sciences, and business. Applicants must be assessed as overseas fee status and must apply both through Imperial College London's application portal and through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt.

The Beacon Scholarship

The Beacon Scholarship

The Anne Seagrim Accommodation Scholarships
