Store samarbeidsprosjekter
Store samarbeidsprosjekter (Large Cooperation Projects) supports long-term international collaborations aimed at developing new initiatives or sharing good ideas in the youth field. Organizations can collaborate with partners in European countries or EU neighboring regions. The program is flexible and supports many different types of projects. Projects should create positive and long-lasting effects for participating organizations and people directly or indirectly involved in project activities. The results should be transferable and, if possible, have a strong interdisciplinary dimension. Large cooperation projects receive larger grants and have longer project periods than small cooperation projects, which target smaller grassroots organizations. Applicants can apply for either 120,000, 250,000, or 400,000 EUR. Projects must work towards one or more of the following goals: promoting active citizenship, youth initiative, and young entrepreneurship; increasing the quality of youth work; helping youth gain competencies and skills for better access to the labor market; and strengthening the connection between policy, research, and practice.
Opplæring for ungdomsarbeidere

The grant requires organizations to be registered in the Norwegian Volunteer Registry and to have activities in at least five municipalities or districts. Organizations must contribute a minimum of 5% co-financing of the total grant amount. Activities must take place during free time (afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays) and be organized as group offerings. The program emphasizes high-quality applications due to its open-ended nature and fewer predefined criteria. Eligible applicants include public institutions, voluntary organizations, and private actors, with the requirement that participating municipalities must be enrolled in the broader inclusion scheme. The venue may include activity offerings such as cooking, homework help, various group activities, excursions, workshops, and cultural events. There must be adults present who ensure safe and good frameworks for the meeting place and the activities offered there. The guide can be contacted via an interest form on the internet or through contact persons in the municipality, a voluntary organization, or club/association. After a child/youth/family has expressed interest, the activity guide contacts the family to find a suitable leisure activity for the child/youth in the local community. The activity guide clarifies practical questions such as payment or need for equipment, follows the child to the leisure activity, and arranges further follow-up. Tilskudd til tiltak i statlig sikret friluftslivsområde (kap. 1420 post 78)
This grant supports development and maintenance projects in state-secured outdoor recreation areas and areas protected under the Marka Act in Norway. The goal is to promote outdoor recreation activities through environmentally friendly facilitation and management, making these areas easily accessible and attractive for public outdoor recreation. Eligible projects include development of information boards, access roads, parking areas, trails, fishing spots, accessibility improvements for persons with reduced mobility, beaches, docks, toilets, waste facilities, planting and maintenance, and cultural heritage communication. Only local management authorities - municipalities and regional outdoor recreation councils - can apply. A mandatory requirement is that applicants have an approved management plan for the outdoor recreation area. The scheme prioritizes areas in or near cities and densely populated areas, heavily used or potentially heavily used areas, areas with limited accessible shoreline under significant pressure, and areas connected to inland waterways. Projects with co-financing or volunteer work contributions receive priority. The application deadline is December 1st annually.

Stipend for Children without Glasses
The Stipend for Children without Glasses (SCWG) is a charitable foundation established in 2012 dedicated to supporting youth who have maintained natural visual acuity throughout their developmental years. Founded by optometrist Dr. Helena Brightwell, the organization awards annual grants of $500–$2,000 to children ages 8–17 who demonstrate both exceptional uncorrected vision and academic achievement. The foundation's somewhat tongue-in-cheek mission arose from Dr. Brightwell's observation that while numerous programs exist to provide corrective eyewear to those in need, no recognition existed for children whose genetic fortune and eye-care habits preserved their natural sight. Recipients must submit proof of 20/20 vision or better from a licensed eye care professional, along with a short essay on eye health awareness. The SCWG distributes approximately $150,000 annually across 200 grants and has funded vision health education programs in over 40 schools nationwide.
