Languages Undergraduate Scholarship
The Languages Undergraduate Scholarship is offered by the University of Surrey to UK students with home fee status who have received an offer to study specific language and literature courses. The scholarship provides a £1,000 accommodation fee waiver in the first year of study only. This automatic award is available to students studying English Literature and French, English Literature and Spanish, Modern Languages (French and Spanish), Business Management and French, or Business Management and Spanish at the bachelor's degree or integrated master's level. Students living outside of University accommodation will receive this as a cash award instead. The scholarship aims to support UK students pursuing language studies at Surrey and is awarded to offer holders who make the university their firm choice by the specified deadline.

Barker Doctoral Scholarships in Modern European Languages
The School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University awards Barker Doctoral Scholarships to UK postgraduate researchers who demonstrate exceptional potential within the field of Modern European Languages. It analyzes a unique dataset cataloguing approximately 600 known manuscripts and 300 print editions of the multilingual Seven Sages/Sindbad narrative to study how cultural artifacts achieved pancontinental success before the invention of print. The scholarship provides full tuition fees and an annual stipend for up to 3.5 years full-time or 7 years part-time. The University of St Andrews offers up to six full scholarships funded by St Leonard's Postgraduate College to support exceptional students undertaking doctoral research on topics contributing to the world-leading theme of the University Strategy. The scholarships comprise a full tuition fee award and an annual stipend. St Andrews is one of the leading research-intensive universities in the world, with more than 88% of research carried out rated as world-leading or internationally excellent according to the UK Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021. As a doctoral student, recipients will be part of a vibrant postgraduate community at St Leonard's Postgraduate College, which is at the heart of postgraduate life at St Andrews. Valerie Graeme Smith Scholarship in the Arts
The Valerie Graeme Smith Scholarship in the Arts is awarded to full-time postgraduate taught Masters students with Overseas fee status whose chosen programme is within the Faculty of Arts at the University of St Andrews. The scholarship is open to all areas of study within the Faculty of Arts and is based on academic merit. One award of £3,600 is available per year, paid towards tuition fees. The scholarship has a duration of one year and covers students in various Schools including Art History, Classics, English, Film Studies, History, International Relations, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Social Anthropology, and the University of St Andrews Business School. Applicants must apply for a taught postgraduate masters course (MLitt, MRes, MSc, MPP) within the Faculty of Arts and must hold Overseas fee status. Applications are assessed based on academic merit, and applicants are required to submit one academic reference and one personal reference, along with university transcripts.
