Tilskudd til kvinnerettede tiltak
This grant program supports women-focused initiatives in reindeer husbandry in Norway. It provides funding for three main categories: value creation activities that promote women's participation in reindeer husbandry and develop innovative products and services; competence-building through courses and training where participants can acquire new knowledge, maintain or upgrade their own competence, or share knowledge with others; and the establishment, maintenance, and operation of women's networks that contribute to increased gender equality and women's status in reindeer husbandry. The program aims to strengthen women's position in the reindeer industry, preserve Sami traditions, and facilitate knowledge exchange through gatherings and courses. Applications are accepted twice per year with deadlines on April 1 and October 1. The fund is administered by the Norwegian Agriculture Agency (Landbruksdirektoratet) and funded through the Reindeer Husbandry Development Fund.
Tilskudd til klimarådgiving
Tilskudd til klimarådgiving is a grant program offered by the Norwegian Agriculture Agency (Landbruksdirektoratet) that provides funding to agricultural enterprises for climate advisory services. The program became a separate subsidy scheme outside of Regional Environmental Subsidies (RMP) from October 15, 2025, with regulations taking effect in February 2026. The subsidy is available to agricultural enterprises that meet the requirements for receiving subsidies under the Production Subsidy and Relief Subsidy regulations and have received climate advisory services for their own agricultural production. The advisory services must follow approved advisory frameworks and result in an action plan aimed at reducing the farm's climate impact and improving its ability to adapt to climate change. The application system is currently under development and is expected to be ready during spring 2026. More information about the subsidy scheme will be published on the program website as it becomes available. Agricultural enterprises should contact their regional Statsforvalter (County Governor) for assistance with applications and questions.
Tilskudd til feltbarnehage
This grant supports field kindergarten (feltbarnehage) services for reindeer herding communities in Norway. The program provides funding for organized, time-limited childcare for children below school age during periods of major reindeer herding activities. The grant covers the cost of childcare supervision, enabling participation of parents in essential reindeer herding work while ensuring children receive appropriate care and cultural education. Applications must be submitted within one month after the reindeer herding activity is completed. The funding is administered by Landbruksdirektoratet (Norwegian Agriculture Agency) with decision-making authority delegated from the Board of the Reindeer Husbandry Development Fund. Eligible applicants include reindeer grazing districts (reinbeitedistrikt), summer siida, reindeer groups (reinlag), or winter siida share leaders.
Tilskudd til distriktsplaner
This grant supports the development and revision of district plans and reindeer herding plans for reindeer grazing districts and reindeer herding associations in Norway. District plans are important tools for public authorities and other stakeholders to gain knowledge about reindeer herding in their area, providing a solid foundation for safeguarding reindeer herding interests and development opportunities. The grant covers expenses related to creating new district plans or reindeer herding plans, or revising previously approved plans. The district plan must be prepared in accordance with the Reindeer Husbandry Act § 62 and must be approved within one year after the grant is awarded, though the Norwegian Agriculture Agency may grant exceptions in special cases.
Satsene fastsettes i jordbruksavtalen. For å delta i ordningen må produsenter tilby minimum treårig avtale om mottak av avrenspoteter fra godkjente omsetningsledd i markedsordningen for poteter.
Tilskudd til avl av settepotet
This grant program provides subsidies for certified seed potato cultivation in Norway. The program aims to stimulate increased use of high-quality seed potatoes through certified seed potato breeding. The subsidy covers multiple aspects including price reduction for seed potatoes in prebasis, basis and certified classes, cultivation subsidies for approved prebasis class per decare and per batch, district subsidies for certified seed potatoes grown in Northern Norway, and freight subsidies for transportation costs of certified seed potatoes. Additionally, support is available for operation and maintenance of clone cultivation facilities, including greenhouses, testing expenses, soil sampling for control of potato cyst nematode, replacement of seed potatoes, and heat therapy equipment. Applications are processed by the Norwegian Agriculture Agency (Landbruksdirektoratet), with a deadline of November 15 each year. Approved seed potato businesses are eligible to apply for this subsidy program.
Teigbasert tilskudd mv. i Nord-Norge
Landbruksdirektoratet (Norwegian Agriculture Agency) is piloting two subsidy schemes for selected municipalities in Northern Norway. The first scheme provides subsidies for the operation of small plots (teiger) ranging from 1 to 10 decares, with higher rates per decare for the smallest plots. The second scheme provides subsidies for the operation of areas that were not applied for in 2024. The purpose of these subsidies is to prevent overgrowth of agricultural land and support the operation of challenging areas. Both schemes are part of a pilot program that will be tested in 2025 and continued in 2026, though the exact design for 2026 has not yet been determined. Applicants must be registered enterprises in the Norwegian Business Register that actively operate eligible areas in selected municipalities in Northern Norway and must also apply for production subsidies for the same areas.
RÅK-tilskudd (Råvarepriskompensasjon)
RÅK-tilskudd is a raw material price compensation scheme for the Norwegian food processing industry. The program provides price reduction subsidies where tariff rates are insufficient to compensate for different price levels of agricultural raw materials in Norway and abroad. The scheme supports Norwegian food industry companies that produce processed agricultural products based on Norwegian-produced raw materials. Eligible products include items like pizza, confectionery, bakery products, and soups that are sold in grocery or specialty markets. The subsidy rates are updated annually based on market conditions and determined through agricultural negotiations, then approved by the Norwegian Parliament. Applicants must first obtain approved recipes for their finished products before they can apply for subsidies based on monthly sales volumes.

Tilskudd ved produksjonssvikt
This is a grant program offered by the Norwegian Agriculture Agency (Landbruksdirektoratet) for agricultural enterprises that experience significant production losses due to climatic conditions. The subsidy applies to crop production failures in areas including berries, fruit, vegetables, grains, potatoes, and fodder production. To qualify, production in the damage year must be less than 70 percent of the average yield for the crop group, meaning there is a 30 percent deductible. The production failure must have a climatic cause that cannot be insured against, and applicants must have operated in a professionally sound manner. Applicants must report damage to their municipality as soon as it occurs, and the municipality will review applications before they are processed by the County Governor (statsforvalter) who makes the final decision.
Gjødsling av skog - tilskudd
This grant program supports forest fertilization as a climate measure to increase carbon uptake. Forest owners can receive up to 50% reimbursement of costs for nitrogen fertilization of forests. The program is administered by the Norwegian Agriculture Agency (Landbruksdirektoratet), while municipalities process applications and make decisions. Applications must be submitted after the fertilization has been completed and costs are documented. The fertilization must meet specific environmental requirements and the fertilization area must be mapped. This is a production and quality-enhancing measure that contributes to climate action through increased carbon sequestration in forests.
