George Norton SEAS Scholarship Fund
The George Norton SEAS Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 by the last will and testament of George H. Norton, BS '48. This scholarship supports students pursuing a degree in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University at Buffalo. The award provides up to $2,000 to eligible students enrolled in SEAS programs, including both undergraduate and graduate students in engineering and applied sciences disciplines.
Fred Bargetzi Memorial Scholarship
The Fred Bargetzi Memorial Scholarship was established in 2021 by Crestron to promote inclusive excellence and honor the late Fred Bargetzi, a University at Buffalo alumnus and former CTO of Crestron. This scholarship is specifically designed for students from single parent or single caregiver households who are U.S. citizens. This is a non-tuition scholarship that provides financial assistance for educational expenses including fees, books, room and board, and other related costs. The scholarship offers up to $10,000 per year and is renewable for up to 4 years of undergraduate study, providing sustained support throughout the recipient's academic journey. Eligible applicants must be accepted majors in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and demonstrate their eligibility through a personal statement addressing their circumstances as students from single parent or single caregiver households.
