The Shadowlawn Science Grant is awarded to first-time (freshmen) students who are pursuing a major within the School of Science at Monmouth University. The award is valued at $2,500 per year and is automatically reviewed by the Office of Undergraduate Admission with no separate application process required. The scholarship is renewable each year provided that the student maintains a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, is enrolled full-time (12 or more credits), and continues pursuing a degree in a major within the School of Science. Important note: Beginning with the Fall 2023 semester, this award is no longer being offered to newly enrolling students.

The Transfer Science Scholarship is a $3,500 scholarship awarded to all students who complete an AA, AS, or AAS degree at a New Jersey community college and enroll as full-time students in a major within Monmouth's School of Science. Students must have earned at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA at the community college. All students are automatically reviewed by the Office of Undergraduate Admission with no separate application process required. The scholarship is renewable each year, provided that the student maintains a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, remains full-time (12 or more credits), and continues pursuing a degree in a major within the School of Science. It is important to note that this scholarship will no longer be offered after the Fall 2024 semester. The scholarship can be applied only toward tuition assessed by Monmouth University and cannot be applied toward housing costs. Students participating in tuition remission or tuition exchange programs are not eligible. The award is not available during summer or winter terms and requires full-time enrollment for each semester.
