Stimuleringstilskudd til veterinærdekning
This grant program provides funding to municipalities and veterinary service providers to ensure satisfactory access to veterinary services in economically weak districts and on Svalbard. The program is administered by the Norwegian Directorate of Agriculture and aims to support municipalities in fulfilling their obligation to provide adequate veterinary services, including services for production animals, pets, and horses during regular working hours. The grant can be used for establishment support, operational support, creating municipal veterinary positions, and other measures that contribute to adequate access to veterinary personnel services. For Svalbard, the grant can support veterinary services year-round, although it is not intended to establish an on-call service. The program prioritizes municipalities with challenges in securing stable access to veterinary services and those actively working to establish good local solutions. Applications are evaluated based on criteria including poor economic foundation for veterinarians, low animal numbers and challenging infrastructure, difficulty recruiting and retaining veterinarians, and whether the proposed stimulation measure can appropriately contribute to ensuring satisfactory access to veterinary services.
Tilskudd til næringsutvikling på Svalbard
This grant program supports business development projects on Svalbard, Norway's Arctic archipelago. Innovation Norway provides financing and advisory services to businesses with projects that can contribute to economic development in this unique geographic region. The program operates on a rolling basis, with funding amounts determined based on individual project needs. Eligible businesses must demonstrate commitment to responsible business practices and sustainability principles. The program is subject to Norwegian state aid regulations and EEA rules administered by EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA). Projects are evaluated based on their potential contribution to business development on Svalbard, and funding decisions take into account other public support that applicants may receive, including tax incentives like SkatteFunn.
