This scholarship aims to contribute to new knowledge about equitable healthcare delivery in Sweden. Previous years have focused on different themes including continuity of care in primary care, physicians' administrative workplaces, sustainable working life, climate and health, and the impact of hospital bed shortages.
SDKO:s Resebidrag
SDKO:s Resebidrag is a travel grant offered by the Swedish Society for Dermatological Surgery and Oncology (SDKO) for its members. The grant is intended to support participation in tumor-focused courses or visits to healthcare units, in Sweden or abroad, where the recipient can gain knowledge and experience that can benefit their own healthcare unit and other SDKO members. The ultimate aim of the travel grant is to increase competence in Swedish healthcare regarding the investigation and treatment of various types of skin tumors and vascular anomalies. The grant does not cover congress travel or aesthetically oriented courses. Recipients are expected to disseminate the acquired knowledge at their own healthcare unit and report to SDKO's board and members, either in writing or orally, through presentations or publications. The grant must be used within 12 months of being awarded, and the recipient must contact SDKO's secretary within this timeframe to discuss the format of the report.
