Drangedal kommune tilbyr støtte til å dekke deler av kostnadene ved opprettelse av veilag. Dette tilskuddet gjelder omklassifiserte veier og kan dekke kostnader knyttet til juridisk bistand og andre fagpersoner som bistår med opprettelsen av veilaget. For å motta støtte må søkere legge ved gyldige fakturaer eller andre dokumenter som viser de faktiske utgiftene. Fristen for å opprette veilag for de omklassifiserte veiene er 31. oktober, mens søknadsfristen for tilskudd er 31. desember 2025.

Søknader må inneholde veinavn, veiens lengde frem til siste fastboende, og informasjon om kontaktperson. Dersom det er flere eiere/oppsittere langs veien, skal det oppnevnes en felles kontaktperson eller et styre som representerer veien etter veglova §§ 54 og 55. Dette er en kommunal støtteordning som bidrar til vedlikehold av privat veiinfrastruktur i Drangedal kommune.

The housing social grant program (Boligsosialt tilskudd) is designed to help residents who have special needs due to physical and/or mental disabilities, and/or are in difficult financial situations, gain access to suitable and safe housing so they can achieve or maintain a stable housing situation. RMP skal stimulere bøndene til å gjøre tiltak for å begrense forurensing og fremme kulturlandskapsverdier. The Local Leisure Fund in Drammen Municipality aims to facilitate opportunities for all children and young people to participate in organized leisure activities regardless of economic background. The program helps cover costs associated with participation in organized leisure activities for children and young people aged 0-19 years who are at risk of social exclusion. The funding is provided through a three-year grant from Bufdir (Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs) to Drammen municipality, with 2025 being the final year. The program covers participation fees for cultural and sports associations, tournament fees, necessary equipment and clothing, travel costs, and camps organized by clubs. Applications are processed on a rolling basis as long as funds are available. The maximum support is 5,000 Norwegian kroner per child per year for one organized leisure activity.

The grant encourages initiative from, and cooperation between, business actors for the benefit of the city center areas and local businesses. The program has an annual budget of NOK 500,000. Activities must take place in Drammen municipality, and applicants must have an address in Drammen municipality. Applications require collaboration on activities and projects, though business organizations representing multiple businesses can apply alone on behalf of their members. Projects must comply with current legislation, be accessible to everyone in the target group, and be as sustainable as possible in accordance with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Recipients must submit a simple report within two months after completion describing what was carried out and how the grant was used.

The fund for development of public-private partnership facilities (OFS anlegg) in Drammen municipality has been established to support construction, upgrading, rehabilitation, and development of sports facilities that contribute to increased activity, public health, and an inclusive sports program in the municipality. Support can also be sought for building permit processes. The fund prioritizes projects that promote increased sports activity, advance public health, and align with the municipality's sports policy priorities. Projects must demonstrate long-term sustainability with a plan for ongoing operations and maintenance without requiring municipal support after completion. Applicants must be members of the Norwegian Sports Federation and document sufficient financial and organizational capacity to implement the project. Facilities must be open and accessible to a broad user group, with special emphasis on inclusion of children, youth, and persons with disabilities. Projects that consider environmental sustainability and energy efficiency will be prioritized. Applications must include a detailed project description, budget, financing plan, operations plan, and documentation of implementation capacity. The application deadline is October 1st.

Drammen kommune has been awarding development grants to young athletes since 1993. In spring 2024, the grant program was strengthened with an additional 250,000 kroner, bringing the total annual distribution to 290,000 kroner for youth athletes in the municipality. The grants are awarded through Drammen Sports Council based on applications from local clubs and associations. The financing of building/rehabilitation of sports, culture, and outdoor recreation facilities is often costly, especially when voluntary organizations are responsible for the facilities. By offering municipal loan guarantees, the municipality contributes to the construction of more facilities managed by voluntary organizations, which increases the facility status in Drammen municipality. The guarantee is available for both existing loans and new loans associated with construction projects that are eligible for sports funding (spillemidler).

Spillemidler are grants from the surplus of Norsk Tipping (Norwegian gaming operator) to support the construction and rehabilitation of sports, outdoor recreation, and local community facilities. The program aims to enable a larger portion of the population to participate in sports and physical activities. Grants are available for new sports and outdoor facilities, rehabilitation of existing facilities, and local community facilities (nærmiljøanlegg). The funding scheme has two main categories: ordinary facilities which can receive up to 1/3 of approved costs (with additional percentages for certain areas and inter-municipal projects), and local community facilities which can receive up to 50% of approved costs with a maximum of NOK 300,000 per facility unit. Applications must be submitted electronically through www.anleggsregisteret.no by October 1st annually. The municipality prioritizes applications before forwarding them to the county council, which makes the final allocation decisions.

Lokale aktivitetsmidler (LAM) er en grunnstøtte til medlemsbaserte lokale lag og foreninger i Drammen kommune. Midlene skal bidra til økt idrettsaktivitet, deltakelse og frivillighet. Alle registrerte idrettslag i byen som driver idrettslig aktivitet for aldersgruppene 6-12 år og/eller 13-19 år får automatisk tildelt midler. Omtrent to tredjedeler av det totale beløpet fordeles som hodestøtte ut fra lagenes innrapporterte aktivitetstall. Den eldste aldersgruppen (13-19 år) tildeles dobbelt så mye per medlem som den yngste gruppen (6-12 år). For å styre noen av midlene direkte til aktivitet for nevnte aldersgrupper, blir inntil 10% gitt som støtte til lag som har barneidrettstilbud i tråd med NIFs anbefalinger, inkludert godkjente allidrettsskoler. Inntil 12% av potten kan benyttes til Aktive lokalsamfunn, og inntil 10% blir fordelt som støtte til Paraidrett basert på innrapporterte aktivitetstall i Samordnet rapportering. Dette er en automatisk tilskuddsordning for registrerte idrettslag som driver aktivitet for barn og ungdom i Drammen kommune. Grants are awarded for one year at a time, with the total budget determined annually by the municipal council.
