Larry & Janet Anderson Healthcare Education Award
The Larry & Janet Anderson Healthcare Education Award is awarded to full-time students enrolled in NorQuest College's Health Care Aide or Practical Nurse programs. This award provides $2,500 CAD to support students pursuing healthcare education. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents who demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum academic standing of 64%/C/2.0 or higher. Preference is given to newcomers to Canada who have been in the country for under 3 years, and to candidates who have completed Academic Upgrading at NorQuest College.

Jeff Klaus Award
The Jeff Klaus Award is presented to a student enrolled in the NorQuest College Academic Upgrading or English as a Second Language (ESL) Intensive programs, including Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada. The award recognizes students who have successfully completed at least one term and demonstrated exceptional qualities of perseverance, dedication, and strength while overcoming significant obstacles. This award supports students who show resilience and determination in their educational journey at NorQuest College.
Glen McCalpin Memorial Award
The Glen McCalpin Memorial Award is awarded to a NorQuest College Academic Upgrading student who demonstrates financial need and academic excellence. The award recognizes students who maintain a strong academic standing of 75%/B/3.0 or higher while contributing to their community through volunteer activities. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Landed Immigrants enrolled in the Academic Upgrading program at NorQuest College. The award provides $1,000 to support the educational pursuits of students who demonstrate commitment to their educational goals and career objectives.
Eldon & Anne Foote Bursary
The Eldon & Anne Foote Bursary is awarded to a full-time NorQuest College Academic Upgrading student who has successfully completed at least one term. This bursary provides $2,000 in financial support to eligible students who demonstrate both academic achievement and financial need. Recipients must maintain an academic standing of at least 64%/C/2.0 or higher and submit a personal letter describing their educational goals and career objectives. Preference is given to candidates who are continuing their education in a NorQuest College career program, supporting students in their transition from academic upgrading to career-focused education.
Peter Elzinga Family Foundation Award
The Peter Elzinga Family Foundation Award is awarded to a full-time student in any NorQuest College career program in the first year of study, who is a recent graduate (within two years) from the NorQuest Academic Upgrading program. The award provides $500 to support students with demonstrated financial need and a minimum academic standing of 64%/C/2.0 or higher. This award recognizes students who have successfully completed the Academic Upgrading program and are continuing their educational journey at NorQuest College.
Mai Huynh Education Bursary for Newcomers
The Mai Huynh Education Bursary for Newcomers is awarded to a student enrolled in a NorQuest College Foundational program. This bursary is specifically designed to support newcomers to Canada who are pursuing their educational goals. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and maintain strong academic performance with a minimum 75% grade point average or equivalent. The bursary recognizes the unique challenges faced by recent immigrants and permanent residents as they establish themselves in Canada and pursue their educational aspirations.
Edmonton Glenora Rotary Club Bursary
The Edmonton Glenora Rotary Club Bursary is awarded to full-time students at NorQuest College who have either graduated from the Academic Upgrading program and are in their first year of a career program, or are in their second year of a career program. This bursary recognizes academic achievement and financial need, supporting students in pursuing their educational goals and career objectives. Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance with a minimum 75% grade point average. Preference is given to female students, reflecting a commitment to supporting women in their educational advancement.
Alumni Association Award
The Alumni Association Award is offered to students at NorQuest College who are enrolled in any career program in their first year of study and who have recently graduated from the NorQuest Academic Upgrading program within the past two years. This award recognizes academic achievement and supports students transitioning from upgrading programs to career programs. Recipients must maintain strong academic standing with a minimum grade of 75%/B/3.0 or higher and demonstrate their educational goals and career objectives through a personal letter. The award is specifically designed for students who are not receiving funding from other sources that covers tuition, books, and/or mandatory college fees, though students receiving loans are eligible to apply.
