Biological Sciences Department Resource Fund by Joseph T. Abate, DMD
The undergraduate research fellowship was endowed by Joseph T. Abate, DMD, with the intent of supporting the research experiences of undergraduate students in the Department of Biological Sciences. This fellowship aims to provide students currently in their senior year with financial support to facilitate undergraduate research, performed in the Department of Biological Sciences, during the academic year. The Research Fellowship was established by Dr. Joseph T. Abate, who received his Bachelors degree in Biology (1991) from UB Department of Biological Sciences. He then went on to receive his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1995. The award amount varies depending on the application and available funds. Applicants must be current seniors (90+ credits) majoring in Biological Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
