Tilskot til oppgradering av krisesenterbygg
This grant program provides funding to Norwegian municipalities for the renovation, adaptation, and replacement of unsuitable crisis center buildings and facilities. The grant covers up to 50% of the costs for municipalities to upgrade, renew, or expand crisis centers. The goal is to stimulate municipalities to improve crisis centers that serve women, men, and children exposed to violence in close relationships who need counseling or a safe temporary residence. Two types of applications are available: simplified applications for smaller projects costing between 50,000-400,000 NOK total (grant amount 25,000-200,000 NOK), and regular applications for more comprehensive projects exceeding 400,000 NOK total (grant amount over 200,000 NOK).
Tilskudd til utprøving av arbeidsmodell
This grant program supports the testing of working models aimed at increasing participation in leisure activities for children and youth aged 0-24 who are at risk of social exclusion. The program requires collaboration between at least two sectors (public, private, or voluntary) to trial new approaches that remove barriers to participation. Projects may test new forms of cooperation, recruitment methods, or adaptations to activities to make them more accessible and attractive to the target group. The grant is designed to increase both participation in leisure activities and cooperation between relevant actors working with children and youth at risk of exclusion. Applications can be submitted by public institutions, voluntary organizations, and private actors for projects lasting up to three years.

Establishment grants are economically means-tested and given as an interest-free and installment-free loan to permanently disadvantaged individuals to help them acquire modest and good housing. Grants for investigation and project planning are available to all with reduced functional capacity who need to adapt their housing to be able to continue living there over time. The size of the grant is determined after a comprehensive assessment of economy, needs, and opportunities for support from other public support schemes.
