The Next Generation Scholarship honors the memory of Florence, Jack & Carol Kornblith and was established in 2010 by Dr. Catherine Cornbleth. This scholarship supports students who are in their student teaching semester of the adolescence/secondary initial teacher certification program at the University at Buffalo Graduate School of Education. The award is intended to assist students who demonstrate financial need as evidenced by completing the FAFSA, while also achieving high academic merit with a minimum GPA of 3.00. Special preference is given to first generation college students pursuing careers in teaching.
