Historiske spel
This grant program supports historical theater productions in Norway. The purpose is to contribute to the development of new theatrical performances (spel) and provide established productions with opportunities for continuity and increased quality. The theater activity should be part of strengthening cultural activities and local community identity, and should include and stimulate broad participation. The program targets both amateurs and professionals who create local productions based on distant or recent history. Funded projects must clearly distinguish themselves as separate projects with their own project budgets, and demonstrate local community engagement and participation.
