Women Healthcare Leaders scholarship

The Women Healthcare Leaders scholarship is designed to support women committed to driving change in healthcare. Research confirms that women are the primary consumers of healthcare as well as the workforce, but they remain underrepresented in leadership roles. This scholarship aims to address this gap by providing financial support to women pursuing postgraduate degrees in healthcare management and related fields at UCL's Global Business School for Health. Scholars will benefit from leadership coaching and high-impact leadership training as part of their scholarship, enhancing their ability to become effective leaders in the healthcare sector. The scholarship provides £10,000 to UK students and £15,000 to overseas students. The scholarship is available for students starting in September 2026 and is open to applicants who identify as women and demonstrate academic excellence and exceptional leadership potential. Eligible programmes include Biotech and Pharmaceutical Management MSc, Digital Health and Entrepreneurship MSc, and three Global Healthcare Management MSc pathways (Analytics, Finance, and Leadership). Recipients are expected to participate in promotional activities as student ambassadors and alumni.

Global Healthcare Leaders scholarship

The Global Healthcare Leaders scholarship is for students who show exceptional leadership potential in their fields and want to make a difference in healthcare. This scholarship supports prospective students enrolling in one of five specialized healthcare management and biotech master's programs at UCL's Global Business School for Health. The scholarship offers financial support of £10,000 for UK students or £15,000 for overseas students. Awards are made throughout the admissions cycle across three rounds, with decisions communicated within approximately one month of each application deadline. Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence and exceptional leadership potential through a 500-word essay on how they will make a difference in healthcare. The scholarship cannot be deferred and recipients are expected to participate in promotional activities for the school as student ambassadors and alumni.

Spärck AI Scholarships

The Spärck AI Scholarships are government-funded awards named after pioneering British computer scientist Karen Spärck Jones. This prestigious programme provides full funding including tuition fees and a UKRI stipend for Master's students pursuing AI-related courses at Imperial College London. The scholarship is backed by £17.2 million in government funding and delivers on a recommendation of the AI Opportunities Action Plan. Scholars will join a dynamic world-class cohort of ambitious, adaptable individuals who demonstrate leadership potential, resilience, and a clear vision for the future of AI. The programme is designed to empower students to drive innovation and contribute meaningfully to the UK's AI ecosystem, emerging as part of the next generation of AI leaders. Throughout the year, scholars participate in a range of activities designed to build connections within the cohort and with professionals across the AI landscape. The programme includes industry exposure, mentorship, and structured cohort activities to help scholars gain the skills and networks needed to shape responsible, high-impact AI development across research, government, and industry. Towards the end of the Master's course, scholars have the opportunity to apply for work placements with industry partners including companies such as PolyAI, Quantexa, CausaLens, Flok, Beamery, Darktrace, and Faculty.
