The Bedriftsintern opplæring (BiO) program provides grants to businesses in Innlandet, Norway to cover part of the costs of employee training needed for business transformation. The program supports companies undergoing significant changes in their products and services, work methods, or market expansion. Funding covers training costs, wages during training hours, and minor administrative expenses. The program aims to help businesses develop the competencies they need to successfully navigate necessary transformations and adapt to changing market conditions. Applications must be submitted at least one month before the training begins, and training must be completed within 18 months of receiving the grant. The program prioritizes applications that demonstrate clear transformation needs, include many employees, involve apprentices, support green transitions or digital solutions, and are important to local communities.
