Widening Participation Postgraduate Scholarship 2026/2027

The Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London offers a limited number of MRes scholarships worth £4,999, open to all students regardless of country of origin. These scholarships are designed to support widening participation at the postgraduate level. Successful applicants will receive a one-off cash bursary of £4,999 that is not to be applied towards tuition fees, providing financial support for living costs or other expenses. The scholarship is available to students entering any department within the Faculty of Engineering, including Aeronautics, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computing, Design Engineering, Earth Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials, and Mechanical Engineering. Successful scholars will be expected to meet with donors on occasions and submit an annual progress report.

The Satinder Kaur and Dr Narinder Singh Kapany Scholarship

Imperial College London offers The Satinder Kaur and Dr Narinder Singh Kapany Scholarship for the 2025/26 academic year. Established in 2024, this scholarship was named in honour of Imperial alumnus Dr Narinder Singh-Kapany and his wife Mrs Satinder Kaur. The Rolls-Royce Engineering Scholarship for Energy Efficient Technologies

The Lee Family Scholarships

The scholarship provides comprehensive funding for up to 3.5 years, covering full tuition fees, an annual stipend of £26,500, and a consumables budget to support research. Three scholarships are available for the 2026/27 academic year. The scholarships are available across four faculties: Engineering, Medicine, Natural Sciences, and the Imperial Business School. Candidates must be classified as Overseas for fee status and ordinarily reside in mainland China or Hong Kong (excluding Taiwan). The application process requires prospective PhD students to approach departments and potential supervisors with their proposed projects before submitting a complete PhD admissions application by 12 January 2026. The Egyptian Bureau for Cultural & Educational Affairs PhD Scholarships

The Egyptian Bureau for Cultural & Educational Affairs PhD Scholarships program provides funding for Egyptian nationals to pursue full-time doctoral studies at Imperial College London. The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the duration of the PhD program, excluding the writing-up year and any active research period extensions. The Anne Seagrim Accommodation Scholarships
