This grant program supports investments in site development, storage facilities, and dryers for wood chip fuel production where there is market demand. The purpose is to contribute to increased capacity in production, increased supply of various wood chip qualities, and market access for biofuels in Norway. The program is designed to promote renewable energy solutions within the forestry and agricultural sectors. Applicants can receive grants of up to 25 percent of eligible costs for investments in infrastructure related to biofuel production. The program operates on a rolling application basis and is aimed at farmers, forest owners, and entrepreneurs engaged in or planning to engage in biofuel production.
