The Ptarmigan Charitable Foundation Indigenous Pathfinder Bursary is awarded to a full-time Indigenous student who will be enrolled in the first year of any degree or diploma program in the upcoming fall semester at Mount Royal University. Preference will be given to students who have graduated from the Indigenous University Bridging Program (IUBP) and are past recipients of the Ptarmigan Foundation Indigenous University Bridging Program (IUBP) Bursary. The recipient must have completed full-time studies in the previous fall, be registered full-time in winter and be in good standing to receive the second half of their funding. Financial need is a key consideration for this award. The award recipient will be automatically considered for renewal of the bursary up to four additional years provided they maintain good academic standing and full-time status as an MRU student. This provides significant long-term support for Indigenous students pursuing higher education.

The Nutrien Indigenous University Bridging Program Success Bursaries are awarded to full-time Indigenous students enrolled in the Indigenous University Bridging Program (IUBP) at Mount Royal University who intend to apply for a degree program at the university after graduation. The bursary provides financial support totaling $2,000 across two disbursements. Recipients must finish their first semester in good standing and be registered full-time in winter to receive the second disbursement. This award is based on financial need and students are automatically considered through completion of the General Application.

The MEG Energy Indigenous University Bridging Program Bursary is awarded to a full-time Indigenous student who is enrolled in the Indigenous University Bridging Program (IUBP) and intends to apply for a degree at Mount Royal University. The recipient must complete full-time studies in the fall semester and be registered full-time in winter. The student must be in good standing to receive the second disbursement. This bursary is based on financial need and provides support to Indigenous students transitioning to university-level education at Mount Royal University.

The Indigenous University Bridging Program Bursary is awarded to full-time Indigenous students entering the Indigenous University Bridging Program (IUBP) at Mount Royal University who intend to apply for a degree program. This bursary specifically supports students who have been out of school for at least one year before applying. The award is designed to assist students who are either under the age of 30 or over the age of 30 and parenting. The bursary provides $2,500 in financial support and is disbursed in two installments. Recipients must complete full-time studies in the fall semester, be registered full-time in the winter semester, and maintain good academic standing to receive the second disbursement. The award is based on financial need and students are automatically considered through the General Application process.
