Ptarmigan Charitable Foundation Indigenous Pathfinder Bursary

Mount Royal University

The Ptarmigan Charitable Foundation Indigenous Pathfinder Bursary is awarded to a full-time Indigenous student who will be enrolled in the first year of any degree or diploma program in the upcoming fall semester at Mount Royal University. Preference will be given to students who have graduated from the Indigenous University Bridging Program (IUBP) and are past recipients of the Ptarmigan Foundation Indigenous University Bridging Program (IUBP) Bursary. The recipient must have completed full-time studies in the previous fall, be registered full-time in winter and be in good standing to receive the second half of their funding. Financial need is a key consideration for this award. The award recipient will be automatically considered for renewal of the bursary up to four additional years provided they maintain good academic standing and full-time status as an MRU student. This provides significant long-term support for Indigenous students pursuing higher education.
