This grant program supports municipalities and organizations in developing future-oriented local communities and strengthening municipal capacity for planning and implementing development work. The program prioritizes areas with special district challenges and projects based on public-private collaboration. Funding is available for five main areas: projects strengthening local business development and contributing to attractiveness, recruitment, and workforce inclusion; restructuring due to population and employment decline; development of sustainable tourism year-round; public-private procurement collaboration for innovative solutions; and town center development. The program aims to enhance local community attractiveness, support business establishment, increase value creation in tourism, and create vibrant community centers throughout Møre og Romsdal.
