American College of Veterinary Surgeons Awards
The American College of Veterinary Surgeons Awards are presented to two graduating students in Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island. These awards recognize students who demonstrate exceptional academic and clinical proficiency in surgery. Specifically, one award is given for excellence in small animal surgery and another for excellence in large animal surgery. The awards celebrate outstanding achievement in surgical disciplines and are designed to recognize the dedication and skill of fourth-year DVM students as they complete their veterinary medicine education.
American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Awards
The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Awards are presented to three graduating students in Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island. These awards recognize students who demonstrate sincere interest in internal medicine and outstanding didactic and clinical expertise in internal medicine. Two awards are designated for students interested in Small Animal Internal Medicine, while one award is designated for a student interested in Large Animal Internal Medicine. Recipients are selected based on their academic performance and clinical skills in internal medicine during their veterinary program.
