This grant program supports voluntary organizations registered in Lillestrøm municipality's volunteer registry for the maintenance and preservation of listed cultural heritage sites and cultural environments. The program specifically targets cultural monuments and environments that are officially listed in Lillestrøm municipality. Organizations can apply for funding for maintenance of heritage-worthy buildings and facilities including garden areas, maintenance of old roads and burial mounds, measures for communication and signage of cultural monuments, and activities related to cultural monuments in municipal ownership operated by voluntary organizations. The total allocation for this program in 2025 is 400,000 NOK. Applications must include a brief description of the initiative, photos of the cultural monument or illustration of the project, a budget with financing plan, contact information and organization number, and address with property identification number.

This grant supports development and maintenance projects in state-secured outdoor recreation areas and areas protected under the Marka Act in Norway. The goal is to promote outdoor recreation activities through environmentally friendly facilitation and management, making these areas easily accessible and attractive for public outdoor recreation. Eligible projects include development of information boards, access roads, parking areas, trails, fishing spots, accessibility improvements for persons with reduced mobility, beaches, docks, toilets, waste facilities, planting and maintenance, and cultural heritage communication. Only local management authorities - municipalities and regional outdoor recreation councils - can apply. A mandatory requirement is that applicants have an approved management plan for the outdoor recreation area. The scheme prioritizes areas in or near cities and densely populated areas, heavily used or potentially heavily used areas, areas with limited accessible shoreline under significant pressure, and areas connected to inland waterways. Projects with co-financing or volunteer work contributions receive priority. The application deadline is December 1st annually.
