Ullensaker kommune administers state funding on behalf of IMDi (Norwegian Directorate of Integration and Diversity) to support integration work by voluntary organizations. The grant scheme aims to increase labor market participation and societal participation among persons with immigrant backgrounds in Norway. The program supports projects and operations that promote diversity, participation, and community in local societies, increase knowledge about Norwegian society, strengthen qualifications for work and education, and prevent negative social control and honor-related violence. This is a comprehensive Norwegian grant program designed to promote inclusion of children and youth aged 0-24 who are at risk of social exclusion. The program aims to facilitate participation in leisure activities, holiday programs, educational completion, and community engagement. The program offers funding across 12 different activity types, including cultural and recreational activities, job opportunities and guidance, equipment centers, local activity funds, activity cards, activity guides, youth navigators, open meeting places, pilot programs for new working methods, coordination of local work, and support for voluntary organizations operating in multiple municipalities. The target group includes children and youth facing risk factors such as low family income, limited social networks, lack of connection to school or work, and limited participation in leisure activities.

This grant program supports integration work by voluntary organizations in Lillestrøm municipality. The funding is administered by Lillestrøm kommune on behalf of the Norwegian Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi). The main goal is to increase labor market participation and social participation among immigrants and their children. The program funds local activities and projects that promote integration between majority and minority populations, combat social exclusion, racism and discrimination, strengthen Norwegian language and digital skills, counteract barriers to integration such as honor-related violence and forced marriage, and strengthen equality between genders. Voluntary organizations can apply for support for activities and initiatives that promote integration and contribute to increased participation in work, education, and society.
