This grant from the Norwegian Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) stimulates private and public employers to increase awareness of ethnic diversity as a resource, and supports initiatives for increased recruitment of immigrants and better utilization of their competence. The grant supports employer-specific initiatives such as improving inclusive recruitment practices, raising competence in inclusive leadership, increasing ethnic diversity in management through mentoring or trainee programs, better utilizing immigrant competence through mapping education and skills, and developing tools for more objective language assessments. Initiatives must be anchored in the organization's top management and lead to lasting changes in the organization. The funding has no upper limit and is budget-controlled, with awards made through holistic assessment of each application against criteria and expected impact on goal achievement.
