Dr. Stuart C. Shapiro Scholarship for Computational Philosophy
The Dr. Stuart C. Shapiro Scholarship for Computational Philosophy was established by Dr. Stuart C. Shapiro and Dr. Caren D. Shapiro in 2022. This scholarship supports undergraduate students majoring in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences or the College of Arts and Sciences who have a high interest in computational philosophy, computation linguistics, logic, philosophy, or cognitive psychology. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.00 at the time of application. Preference is given to students enrolled in a cognitive science program. The scholarship provides varying award amounts to support students pursuing interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of computation, philosophy, and cognitive sciences at the University at Buffalo.
