This grant program aims to stimulate musical development and increased quality in local choir life, increase collaboration between choirs and professional actors, and provide audiences with good and varied concert experiences. The program supports concert activities and other projects involving live choir music performances where external professional instrumentalists or singers participate. Professional means persons with either relevant performing arts higher education or professional musicians/artists who have music as their main source of income. The program supports individual events and concert series with a maximum application amount of 70,000 Norwegian kroner. Support is not given for concerts abroad, and seminars and course activities are only supported when relevant to a concert for which support has been applied. The program requires that the concert has not been completed before the application deadline.

This grant supports composition and creative production across all music genres in Norway. The program aims to enable composers and musicians to create new music and productions that involve artistically demanding and costly work. It provides funding to cover fees and artistic costs for composition work including score-based or performer-based composition, studio or digital platform composition and production, collaborative composition between composers and musicians, and other forms of composition. The program also supports participation from artists in other fields contributing to creative work, such as video and visual artists, scenographers, photographers, writers, performance artists, and artistic producers. Scenic concert productions for interdisciplinary or music-dramatic works are also eligible. The goal is to make new musical works in Norway accessible to the public through concert presentations and dissemination platforms.

Fond for lyd og bilde

This grant program aims to promote the production and dissemination of sound recordings and to contribute to a broad and diverse range of professional high-quality audio projects.
