ATB Financial Entrepreneur Award
The ATB Financial Entrepreneur Award is a scholarship offered by ATB Financial to recognize academic achievement in Entrepreneurship studies at Red Deer Polytechnic. The award provides $1,000 to one student who has completed Entrepreneurship 2251 and attended a credit program in the most recent academic year. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application and must demonstrate academic achievement in the Entrepreneurship 2251 course.
Alberta Union of Provincial Employees Bursary (Endowment Fund)
The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees Bursary supports full-time students at Red Deer Polytechnic who have connections to AUPE membership. This endowment fund provides financial assistance to students who are AUPE members in good standing with at least one consecutive year of membership, or dependents or spouses of such members. The bursary recognizes both academic achievement and financial need, helping students continue their education at Red Deer Polytechnic. Two awards of $300 each are available annually. Dependents of retired or deceased AUPE members may apply within ten years of retirement or death, and consideration is also given to past AUPE members who enroll full-time within the first year following job elimination.
Agri-Trade Equipment Expo Continuing Scholarship for Agriculture or Agri Business
The Agri-Trade Equipment Expo Continuing Scholarship supports full-time students at Red Deer Polytechnic who are continuing their studies in agriculture-related programs. The scholarship is awarded to students who attended a credit program in the most recent academic year and will be continuing full-time in the subsequent year at Red Deer Polytechnic. The scholarship prioritizes Canadian citizens pursuing careers in agriculture-related services or agribusiness, with secondary preference given to students with a rural background. Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need. Three awards of $1,500 each are available annually.
1000 Women Learner Access Bursary
The 1000 Women Learner Access Bursary is designed to support students enrolled in any credit program at NorQuest College who demonstrate financial need. The bursary provides funding to help students access educational opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and cannot be receiving other sponsorship funding that covers tuition, books, or mandatory fees. The award amount varies based on enrollment status, providing $125 per credit up to a maximum of 12 credits for part-time students or 15 credits for full-time students. Recipients must submit a personal letter describing their educational and career goals and explaining how the bursary will help them achieve these goals. Students may receive this bursary only once per academic year.
