This grant program supports projects and operational activities aimed at preventing and combating violence and abuse in close relationships, and caring for adults and children who have experienced violence. The program contributes to achieving the goals of the Norwegian government's action plans against violence and abuse. The target group includes children and adults who are or have been exposed to violence or abuse, or who commit or are at risk of committing violence in close relationships. The program supports voluntary organizations, municipalities, crisis centers, and other registered entities working in this field. Funding can be provided for up to 3 years for both operational support and time-limited projects. Priority areas include services for particularly vulnerable groups exposed to violence, including those with substance abuse issues, serious mental illness, or disabilities, as well as development of crisis center services for the Sami population.

This is a Norwegian government funding program administered by Bufdir (The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs) that provides operational grants to centers against incest and sexual abuse, and resource centers against rape. The purpose of the program is to provide victims of incest, sexual abuse and rape, as well as relatives of affected children and adults, with high-quality and accessible help and support by ensuring the operation of centers throughout Norway. The grant supports the operational costs of approved centers, with host municipalities eligible to apply on behalf of their centers. The framework for increases in state grants is set at 3.7 percent, though applications may request higher increases if there are strong justifications.

This grant program provides funding to Norwegian municipalities for the renovation, adaptation, and replacement of unsuitable crisis center buildings and facilities. The grant covers up to 50% of the costs for municipalities to upgrade, renew, or expand crisis centers. The goal is to stimulate municipalities to improve crisis centers that serve women, men, and children exposed to violence in close relationships who need counseling or a safe temporary residence. Two types of applications are available: simplified applications for smaller projects costing between 50,000-400,000 NOK total (grant amount 25,000-200,000 NOK), and regular applications for more comprehensive projects exceeding 400,000 NOK total (grant amount over 200,000 NOK).
