Tilskuddsordning for lærlinger/lærekandidater med ekstra behov for oppfølging
This grant program from Rogaland County Municipality provides supplementary funding to training companies (lærebedrifter) that take in apprentices or apprentice candidates who need extra follow-up and support. The program aims to motivate companies to provide opportunities for candidates with special needs to complete their vocational education, thereby strengthening their ability to participate in the regular labor market. The grant covers additional costs not included in the ordinary apprentice subsidy and must be used for better facilitation and follow-up in the training company. This can include closer supervision, additional tutoring, repetition of tasks, support with written work, quality assurance of guidance and instruction, and other accommodations needed to help candidates meet competency goals. For apprentices (lærlinger), companies can apply for NOK 25,000 per six-month period for candidates with youth rights or NOK 20,000 for those with adult rights. For apprentice candidates (lærekandidater), funding can be requested for 12-month periods, up to 6 hours per week for a maximum of 47 weeks per year. Applications are accepted twice yearly: in spring (April 1 - May 10) and fall (September 1 - October 15).

Projects must align with principles of environmentally friendly facilitation for outdoor recreation and comply with approved management plans. Only applications consistent with an approved management plan will be considered for funding.

As a general rule, Riksantikvaren's support for value creation will not cover more than 50 percent of project costs.
