Andrews Senior Care Nursing Award
The Andrews Senior Care Nursing Award is awarded to a third or fourth year student enrolled full-time in the nursing program or a first or second year student enrolled full-time in the accelerated nursing Degree Program who intends to pursue a nursing degree in the geriatric field. This award recognizes students committed to pursuing careers in geriatric nursing care. Andrews of PEI is an independent Island-based company that has been providing residents with secure and comfortable living in licensed and fully-staffed senior care facilities for more than 20 years. In recognition of Keith and Carolyn O'Neill's appreciation for the UPEI School of Nursing and the education it provides to nursing students, many of whom participate in caring for seniors in Andrews of PEI locations, they have established this nursing award to support students dedicated to elderly care.
