This fund supports large national and international sports events in Innlandet County, Norway. The purpose is to contribute to developing Innlandet's role and position as host for major events and to promote Innlandet nationally and internationally. The fund aims to stimulate and further develop Innlandet as a county for major sporting events. The scheme is open to organizers of larger sports events of national and preferably international significance. The fund promotes good social, climate/environmental, and economic sustainability in events. Arrangements that demonstrate increased attractiveness and value creation for Innlandet and attract participants and audiences from outside the county are prioritized. The scheme aims to fulfill the county's main goals defined in the Innlandet Strategy and regional plans for inclusion, social security, and climate, energy, and environment, which are based on the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

This grant program provides funding from Norwegian gaming revenues (Norsk Tipping surplus) for the construction and rehabilitation of sports facilities, outdoor recreation facilities, and local community facilities. The program aims to enable a larger portion of the population to participate in sports and physical activity, with children and youth as the primary target group. Applications can include building new facilities, rehabilitation of existing facilities, or purchase and adaptation of existing buildings/facilities. Ordinary facilities require a minimum cost of 150,000 NOK, while local community facilities require a minimum of 50,000 NOK. The grant is administered by Møre og Romsdal County Council, with applications processed through municipal governments before being forwarded to the county and ultimately to the Ministry of Culture and Equality for fund allocation.

Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune inviterer institusjonar, frivillige lag og organisasjonar til å søke om prosjektstøtte til allmennkultur og idrett. Målet med ordninga er å støtte initiativ som fremmer kultur- og idrettsopplevingar av høg kvalitet for innbyggarane i fylket vårt. Gjennom ordninga vil fylkeskommunen stimulere meiningsfulle prosjekt som berikar både kulturliv, idrettsmiljø og frivilligheita. Det gis tilskot til prosjekter innan allmennkultur og idrett som er av regional interesse og verdi for eit større geografisk område, utover det lokale. Støtte kan også gis til å prøve ut nye prosjekt som kan vere med på å vidareutvikle kulturlivet i fylket, f.eks. gjennom pilotprosjekt med overføringsverdi til andre. For idrettsarrangement kan du søke støtte til meisterskap, cup eller stemne på nasjonalt eller internasjonalt nivå, der senior- og juniormeisterskap vil bli prioritert.

Idrettsstipendet skal bidra til å inspirere unge idrettstalent, gi dei moglegheit til vidare satsing og bidra til at dei når sine mål. Formålet med ordninga er å gi inspirasjon og motivasjon til enkeltutøvarar eller individuelle utøvarar og klubbar til å utvikle seg vidare. Samtidig håpar vi òg å kunne behalde dei unge utøvarane lenger i fylket. Det vil også kunne gi klubbar moglegheit til arbeid med kompetansehevande tiltak eller innkjøp av utstyr. Det delast ut tre stipend og kvart av dei er på 50 000 kroner. Den samla ramma for idrettsstipendet er 150 000 kroner. Stipendet kan brukast til trenarhjelp, deltaking på trening/treningssamlinger, deltaking i konkurransar nasjonalt og internasjonalt, og innkjøp av nytt utstyr. Klubbar kan bruke stipendet til kompetansehevande tiltak eller innkjøp av utstyr. Ordninga er open for unge idrettsutøvar mellom 16–23 år som kan vise til gode prestasjonar innan idrett, og klubbar i fylket som kan vise til god drift og høgt aktivitetsnivå.
