Ekstratilskudd for lærlinger og lærekandidater med kort botid

Innlandet fylkeskommune

This is a grant program offered by Innlandet County Municipality (fylkeskommune) in Norway to support apprenticeship companies that take in apprentices and apprentice candidates with short residency in Norway and weak Norwegian language skills. The purpose of the program is to secure placement, increase completion rates, and prevent contract cancellations. The program provides financial support to help companies provide extra follow-up, language training, and mentorship to apprentices who need additional support due to limited Norwegian proficiency. This is a temporary program established based on the Norwegian Parliament's extraordinary allocation for qualification and placement in apprenticeship positions, and is part of the completion reform. The grant can be used to cover costs for releasing a colleague, supervisor, or second-year apprentice to serve as a mentor, or to purchase external resources such as mentors, language courses, or other services that meet the defined needs of the program.
