The Bartlett Promise Sub-Saharan Africa Master's Scholarship

University College London (UCL) - The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment

The Bartlett Promise Sub-Saharan Africa Master's Scholarship is designed to enable students from Sub-Saharan African countries who are underrepresented in The Bartlett to pursue postgraduate studies at UCL's Faculty of the Built Environment. This comprehensive scholarship provides full overseas tuition fees, an annual living allowance of £17,796 for the normal duration of the master's programme, and additional support including flights to and from the UK, visa costs, English language assessment fees, health test costs, and NHS Immigration Health Supplement charges. The scholarship aims to support students from backgrounds that face financial barriers and other challenges, including forced migrants and first-generation university students. All Promise scholars receive ongoing academic and career support during their studies and join The Bartlett Promise Community, which provides networking and professional development opportunities throughout their careers. Up to three scholarships are available annually for students starting Bartlett Master's courses, with an additional Bartlett Promise Prescot Scholarship specifically for female students on the MSc Infrastructure Investment and Finance programme.
