Gjennom disse statlige og fylkeskommunale midlene gis det støtte til arrangement og tiltak som fremmer kompetanseheving og samarbeid mellom amatører, frivillige og profesjonelle. Det er mulighet å søke støtte til innleie av profesjonelle aktører til lokale og regionale kulturarrangement innen alle sjangrer av kunst, kultur herunder også samiske språk, kunst og kultur. Det er også mulig å søke støtte til kompetanseheving, etablering av nye nettverk og møteplasser. Regionale kulturfond skal legge til rette for samspillet mellom det profesjonelle og frivillige kulturfeltet. Det er et mål at folk skal ha tilgang til kunst og kultur, uavhengig av hvem de er og hvor de bor. Ordningen skal støtte opp under ansvar og roller som fylkeskommunen har på kulturområdet og stimulere til større utviklingsprosjekter. Prosjekter som det søkes om til regionale kulturfond må være påbegynt i 2026.

Statskogmillionen er en støtteordning fra Statskog som gir én million kroner årlig til tiltak og aktiviteter som fremmer friluftsliv og bruk av norsk natur. Ordningen støtter gode krefter som jobber for å bedre tilgang til jakt, fiske og friluftsopplevelser i norsk natur. Årlig får inntil 150 tiltak og aktiviteter i hele landet støtte gjennom ordningen. Søknader mottas kun i mars hvert år gjennom et elektronisk søknadsskjema. All organisasjoner kan søke om støtte, men må kunne vise til faktiske utgifter på minst 5000 kr. Støttebeløpet er enten 5000 eller 10000 kroner per søknad. Grunneiers tillatelse må foreligge før tiltak iverksettes. Statskogmillionen er designet for å være enkel og ubyråkratisk, uten krav om sluttrapporter. Søkere som kan vise størst effekt på friluftsliv og folkehelse har best mulighet for å få støtte. Alle tildelinger offentliggjøres maksimalt to måneder etter søknadsperiodens slutt.

Instrumentfondet is a state-funded support scheme for music bands in Norway to purchase and maintain acoustic instruments. The fund is available to bands, ensembles, and orchestras where at least three-quarters of members are 26 years or younger. The fund has been available since 2006 and was established in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. From 2026, the scheme has been expanded to include major maintenance and repair of instruments to ensure sustainability.

Olav Thon Stiftelsen har siden 2013 delt ut støtte til ulike formål som er samfunnsbyggende bidrag i Norge. Stiftelsen kan støtte formål innen allmennyttige formål og erverv/oppføring av fast eiendom til bruk i allmennyttige formål. Formålene må være i Norge. Støtte tildeles i henhold til stiftelsens vedtekter og kan ikke ytes til politiske eller religiøse formål. Søknader må inneholde detaljert informasjon om prosjektet, budsjett, søker, og beskrivelse av formålet. Det er to frister for å søke støtte til allmennyttige formål: 31. mars og 30. september. Etter behandling sendes tilbakemelding per e-post. Stiftelsen mottar søknader hele året, og støtte kan ikke gis til individuelle studier, konserter, drift og ordinært vedlikehold, eller tiltak som er en naturlig del av offentlig sektors ansvar.

Polar Kraft-fondet is a local community support fund offered by Polar Kraft, a Norwegian electricity provider. The fund aims to inspire and strengthen future generations while contributing to building robust and active local communities in northern Norway. The fund opens doors for children and youth in local communities, giving them opportunities to explore their interests in both sports and culture. Whether it's about creating mastery on the football field, developing exciting cultural projects, or strengthening local leisure activities, the fund helps young people develop, discover new talents, and build lasting relationships in their local environment. The fund supports teams, associations, and similar organizations with grants of up to NOK 10,000 twice per year. Teams, associations, events, and various activities, preferably in Polar Kraft's local areas, can apply. All applications are considered equally important and are processed collectively after the application deadline has passed. The fund covers areas from Mo i Rana in the south to Andenes in the north, where Polar Kraft has local offices.

Sparebankstiftelsen SNN provides support for public benefit purposes in Northern Norway and Svalbard. The foundation supports projects that have long-term value, contribute to sustainability, and create a desire to live in the region. Priority areas include recreational activities that promote well-being and activity, inclusion projects that reduce inequality in society, emergency and preparedness projects, youth and environment initiatives that engage young people in environmental and climate work, and youth education projects that help more young people complete secondary education. The foundation operates on a rolling application basis with three annual deadlines: February 15, August 15, and November 15. Applicants receive responses within 2 months of the deadline.

Sildvikmidlene is an annual grant program established when Sildvik power plant was developed. Each year, Narvik municipality distributes funds from Nordkraft Magasin AS (the concessionaire) earmarked for projects that strengthen fishing, recreation, and leisure opportunities within the municipality and its surrounding districts. The rules for the grant were adopted by Narvik City Council in 1994 and approved by the Directorate for Nature Management in 1995. Recipients are required to submit financial reports and progress updates. For multi-year projects, preliminary reports and financial statements must be submitted annually by the application deadline. Applications are reviewed by representatives from the administration, Culture unit, and Friluftsrådet during the spring following the application deadline.

68° Nord-Bidraget wishes to contribute to local sustainable development by supporting projects and activities that promote environmental, social and economic values in local communities. The grant is open to businesses, organizations, associations and clubs. Funding can be provided for various projects that help achieve the applicant's defined sustainability goals, such as external courses, environmental lighthouse certification, acquisition or renewal of environmentally friendly equipment that contributes to achieving one or more sustainability goals. The total fund of NOK 1,000,000 is jointly provided by Sparebank 68° Nord and the 68° Nord savings bank foundations, with the foundations' portion exclusively going to projects run by associations and clubs. Each applicant can apply for support of up to NOK 30,000. The program aims to support initiatives that have a positive impact and increase competence in sustainability, and strengthen local commitment to sustainability at the 68th parallel.

68° Nord-Bidraget is an annual grant program that provides financial support to voluntary organizations and associations for community-beneficial purposes. Equinorstøtten supports small and large initiatives across Norway, providing financial support to local organizations, associations, and teams. The program recognizes that enthusiastic volunteers drive activities and community gathering points that create opportunities for learning, play, and building confidence. With passion and drive, much can be achieved, but small obstacles often prevent significant progress - and these often require funding. The grant program distributes between 10,000 and 100,000 NOK to hundreds of local initiatives every year, completely without obligation. Applications can be submitted throughout the year via an online portal, with funding distributed twice annually in spring (May) and autumn (October). The program supports initiatives within sports, education, technology, or culture in Norway. Applications must be submitted by someone over 18 years of age on behalf of an organization, association, or team.

Midtre Hålogaland friluftsråds stifond er et lavterskeltilbud som bidrar til 'førstehjelp' på stier i regionen med stor slitasje. Sparebankstiftelsen Sparebank 1 Nord-Norge har innvilget kr 500 000 til stifondet. Vår vakre og lett tilgjengelige natur er for mange førstevalg når en skal velge seg en fritidsaktivitet. Men terreng og klima gir også utfordringer, og mer nedbør og økt ferdsel gir slitasje på mange av stiene. Gjørmete stier, våte myrer og vann som tar nye veier og skyller vekk grus, har noen steder ført til stygge sår i naturen. Formålet er å gjøre det enkelt for lag, foreninger, grunneiere og frivillige å søke om mindre beløp til nødvendige utbedringer som ellers ikke ville blitt gjennomført. Målet er å sikre gode, trygge og bærekraftige ferdselsårer for befolkningen, samtidig som man reduserer naturbelastningen fra økt ferdsel. Det kan søkes opp til 20 000 kroner til enkle tiretteleggingstiltak, som kan også være del av et større prosjekt.

A prerequisite for receiving support is that the initiative improves public fishing opportunities to the greatest extent possible and is publicly accessible.

Den kulturelle spaserstokken is a funding program from Engerdal Kommune that supports cultural activities for elderly people aged 70 and over. The purpose of the fund is to promote well-being and inclusion among youth, stimulate activity, creativity and civic engagement, and give young people the opportunity to realize their own ideas. Examples of eligible activities include events, concerts, courses and workshops, equipment for activities, youth-led projects or campaigns, social meeting places, inclusion or prevention initiatives, and training and skills development for youth. The fund does not support regular operations of associations and organizations, salaries or fees to individuals, or initiatives that conflict with the municipality's core values. Applications must include a project description with details of the initiative, target group, budget and implementation plan.
