Innlandet fylkeskommune

This grant provides additional financial support to apprenticeship companies (lærebedrifter) in Innlandet, Norway for following up apprentices and apprentice candidates with extra needs. Companies can apply for the grant before signing an apprenticeship contract or during the apprenticeship period. The funding is specifically designed to enable extra facilitation and follow-up support in the training company for apprentices with challenges or special needs that are known in advance, or for unforeseen challenges that arise during the apprenticeship period. The grant is particularly aimed at youth and does not cover candidates in other training arrangements such as 'Vocational certificate at work' or 'Module-structured vocational training'. The funding is framework-controlled, meaning that when the budget is exhausted, no new applications will be approved in the same calendar year.

ULF - Ungdommens livskvalitetsfond

Innlandet fylkeskommune

ULF (Youth Quality of Life Fund) is a grant program offered by Innlandet County Municipality that supports inclusive and empowering initiatives for and with youth. The program aims to strengthen mental health and quality of life among young people, promote inclusion, belonging, well-being and social sustainability, and stimulate real youth participation in the development and implementation of initiatives. Student councils at upper secondary schools and youth councils in municipalities can apply for funding to develop and implement new, innovative projects that are evidence-based and universally accessible. Projects must involve youth participation throughout planning, implementation, and evaluation phases, and cannot be one-time events but must be part of a larger ongoing project. The initiatives should build on research, local knowledge, and user knowledge, preferably using the ABC method (Activity, Togetherness, Meaningful activities) to promote mental health.

The program aims to increase competence and awareness in the population, public sector, and organizations about how to take care of and strengthen one's own and others' mental health, spread knowledge about activities that strengthen quality of life and mental health, and strengthen, facilitate, and make visible regional and local opportunities for such health-promoting activity. Five pilot projects were awarded grants totaling 1 million NOK.
