The Wildlife Measures Grant program supports practical wildlife management initiatives that promote sustainable hunting and trapping while maintaining productivity and biodiversity in nature. The program facilitates value creation and recruitment to hunting and trapping as part of outdoor recreation. Voluntary organizations, institutions, municipalities, and individuals can apply for support for activities including: facilitation for value creation and recruitment to hunting and trapping, information about hunting opportunities, mapping of wildlife resources and habitats, incorporation of wildlife considerations in municipal planning, establishment and operation of local cooperation councils, participation in rights holders' management planning, and management-oriented research and monitoring. As of January 1, 2025, the Norwegian Agriculture Agency took over management responsibility for harvestable wildlife species.

ABC midler for å fremme god psykisk helse
Act Belong Commit (Gjør noe aktivt, noe sammen og noe meningsfylt) is the Norwegian government's public health campaign to promote mental health in the population. ABC aims to increase mental health competence in the population and strengthen collaboration between various actors in Nordland. This grant supports initiatives that strengthen competence on mental health in everyday life, facilitate meeting places and activities, recruit and include volunteers, raise awareness of ABC, and be ambassadors for ABC beyond their own organization. The program prioritizes measures that enable everyone to participate and actively recruit new and vulnerable groups. Grants are awarded for one year at a time, with a maximum of 50,000 Norwegian kroner available per application.
Regional bransjeutvikling innen kulturnæring
Regional bransjeutvikling skal bidra til å realisere målene i Balansekunst, kulturstrategien for Trøndelag, og Trøndelagsplanens mål for kunst- og kulturfeltet. Ordningen skal utvikle og styrke regionale bransjestrukturer for kulturell og kreativ næring i Trøndelag. Tilskuddsordningen prioriterer søknader som styrker kunnskapen om kultur som næring, gir tjenesteutvikling og kompetanseheving innen nærings-, markeds- og forretningsutvikling, kommer flere aktører i regionen til gode, og støtter opp under fylkeskommunens mål og prioriteringer for feltet. Tilskuddet kan gå til regionale kompetansesentre, organisasjoner, nettverk, institusjoner og andre bransjebyggende aktører med regionalt nedslagsfelt innen kulturell og kreativ næring, inkludert visuell kunst, musikk, scenekunst, litteratur, kulturvern, arkitektur, design, mote, film og spill. VIKTIG: Ordningen legges ned fra og med 2026.
Tilgjengelighetsprisen
Tilgjengelighetsprisen is an annual prize awarded by Trøndelag County Municipality in Norway that honors efforts to improve living conditions for people with reduced functional capacity in Trøndelag. The prize recognizes exceptional work in promoting universal design and accessibility in society. The prize can be awarded to an individual, organization, company, or municipality that has made special efforts to promote universal design or otherwise worked beyond the ordinary to improve accessibility for all in their local community. Universal design is about understanding and knowledge of good accessibility, and contributes to shaping a society that simplifies life for people with different abilities and of all ages. The prize consists of a diploma, graphic print or similar, and a monetary amount of NOK 10,000.
Festivaltilskudd
Festivaltilskudd is a grant program designed to facilitate high-quality arts and cultural offerings that reach a broad audience in Trøndelag, Norway, and contribute to the diversity of cultural festivals in the region and breadth of cultural expressions. The funding scheme aims to promote festivals as cultural meeting places and strengthen festivals as professional arenas for dissemination. Festivals receiving support must provide regional value through their function or geographic reach and scope of activity. The grant supports annual or recurring events held over two or more days within main themes including performing arts, music, literature, visual arts, cultural heritage, and film. It also supports festivals that promote cultural diversity and inclusion. The program offers flexibility and predictability by allowing applications for multi-year support of up to three years and for additional activities that contribute to regional industry development. Priority is given to festivals under development or in the startup phase through development grants.
Regionalt kulturfond Trøndelag
Regionalt kulturfond Trøndelag skal bidra til gode lokalsamfunn og et åpent, inkluderende og mangfoldig kulturliv i hele Trøndelag. Tilskuddsmidlene skal stimulere til økt aktivitet og deltakelse i kulturlivet, styrke samspill mellom profesjonelt og frivillig kulturliv, forsterke lokal og regional kulturfrivillighet og bidra til økt kvalitet på kunst- og kulturtilbudet lokalt og regionalt. The fund supports cultural projects in Trøndelag region with grants for activities lasting up to three years. Projects can be funded in areas such as performing arts, music, literature, visual arts, cultural heritage, and historical monuments. The funding prioritizes artistic quality, collaboration across cultural expressions and geography, regional significance, and initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion.
Tilskudd til verdensarv
This grant program supports preservation and maintenance of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Trøndelag, specifically Røros Bergstad and Circumferensen. The program aims to fulfill Norway's obligations under UNESCO's World Heritage Convention from 1972 and ensure that World Heritage areas develop as beacons of best practice in natural and cultural heritage management. Funding is provided for security measures, restoration, maintenance, monitoring, and other necessary measures for cultural monuments, cultural environments, and landscapes in World Heritage areas. The program prioritizes projects that preserve universal values defined in the inscription document, promote traditional craftsmanship skills, support sustainable tourism and business activities, stimulate local engagement, advance research and new knowledge, and address risk management including fire safety and preparedness against climate and environmental impacts.
Støtteordning for veteranorganisasjoner
This is a support scheme for veteran organizations provided by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence and the Norwegian Armed Forces. The program provides economic support for both operations and projects that create activities for and support of veterans from international operations, or activities that promote knowledge about and engagement with this group of veterans. The scheme is administered by the Veterans Department of the Norwegian Armed Forces and aims to support voluntary organizations working with veterans and their families. Applications must be submitted by June 1st for the following year. Eligibility criteria and application requirements are specified in the regulation on grants for voluntary activities in the defense and security sector.
Tredje samfinansierte utlysning i partnerskapet bærekraftig blå økonomi (SBEP)
The third joint transnational co-funded call in the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership (SBEP) focuses on 'Digitalisation and innovation for robust marine ecosystems, businesses and local communities to strengthen the competitiveness of the EU blue economy'. This EU partnership aims to promote the necessary transformation towards a climate-neutral, sustainable, productive and competitive blue economy by 2030, while facilitating a sustainable ocean for people by 2050. The call supports transnational research and innovation projects within five priority areas. Norwegian applicants can apply for three specific priority areas: climate-smart use, planning and management of the ocean at regional level; blue bio-resources, sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, and new bio-based products; and resilient coastal communities and businesses. The Research Council of Norway will not prioritize projects directly related to research and development in deep-sea mining or energy and maritime (shipping) sectors. This is a two-stage application process with a preliminary sketch deadline followed by full proposals for invited applicants only. The Research Council of Norway is participating with 2.75 million euros and will finance up to 280,000 euros per project, with an additional 50,000 euros available for projects with a Norwegian project leader/coordinator.
M-ERA.NET – Utlysning 2026 - ERA-NET for forskning og innovasjon på materialer
M-ERA.NET is an international joint call for research and innovation in advanced materials. The Research Council of Norway is offering up to 2.4 million euros for Norwegian researchers and industry to participate in international research collaboration within materials research. M-ERA.NET aims to strengthen the European Research Area (ERA) on advanced materials through annual joint calls that finance groundbreaking research, facilitate knowledge exchange, promote sustainable solutions in materials science, and encourage transnational collaboration between researchers, academia, industry and other stakeholders. The call covers six thematic areas: materials for energy storage and distribution systems, materials for energy conversion, innovative surfaces/coatings and interfaces, innovative functional materials with defined architectures, materials addressing environmental challenges, and next generation materials for electronics. Applications within energy-related themes are limited to renewable energy sources and associated energy storage, energy efficiency, and carbon capture and storage (CCS). Norwegian applicants can apply for between 50,000 and 475,000 euros (maximum 425,000 euros if only one Norwegian partner participates). The funded activities must fall under industrial research or experimental development as defined by EU state aid rules. Companies can apply for up to 50 percent support of approved project costs.
Reviving Our Seas: Community-Led Conservation for Sustainable Marine Fish Populations
The world’s oceans are facing unprecedented threats from overfishing, pollution, and climate change, putting marine fish populations at risk. This grant supports innovative, community-driven projects that aim to protect and restore fish habitats, promote sustainable fishing practices, and raise public awareness about marine conservation. We seek proposals that combine scientific research, local engagement, and scalable solutions to ensure healthy fish populations for future generations. Priority will be given to initiatives that demonstrate measurable impact, collaboration with local stakeholders, and a commitment to long-term ecological balance.
