The program supports voluntary organizations, municipalities, crisis centers, and other registered entities working in this field. Funding can be provided for up to 3 years for both operational support and time-limited projects. Priority areas include services for particularly vulnerable groups exposed to violence, including those with substance abuse issues, serious mental illness, or disabilities, as well as development of crisis center services for the Sami population.

This is a pilot grant program in Norway for establishing housing and support services for individuals over 18 who have experienced involuntary stays abroad. The pilot runs from 2024 through 2027 and aims to serve persons returning from involuntary stays abroad who have significant support needs but are not under threat, or who have additional challenges that make them unsuitable for existing services. The program will establish up to four places total, with two places to be established in 2026. Services include safe housing during a transition period and support services to help individuals reintegrate and live as normal a life as possible. This is an extension of existing services for persons over 18 affected by forced marriage, honor-related violence, and negative social control.

Youth participation should be facilitated through methods such as youth conferences or inclusion of student/youth councils in coordination work.

Activities may also include volunteer work opportunities that help the target group enter the workforce, including practical work experience, CV and job application skills, and interview practice.

Den kulturelle spaserstokken is a cultural grant program designed to provide professional art and cultural experiences for seniors in Telemark, Norway. The program is an economic support scheme that stimulates collaboration between the cultural sector and the health and care sector. The goal is to ensure art and cultural offerings at various cultural arenas, senior centers, nursing homes, and other venues where elderly people are present in their daily lives. The county administration manages the program and distributes grants to municipalities that carry out the activities. Individual municipalities are responsible for programming content and organizing events. The funding is distributed to municipalities based on the number of elderly people over 67 years old in each municipality, with a minimum allocation of NOK 20,000 per municipality.

This grant supports development and maintenance projects in state-secured outdoor recreation areas and areas protected under the Marka Act in Norway. The goal is to promote outdoor recreation activities through environmentally friendly facilitation and management, making these areas easily accessible and attractive for public outdoor recreation. Eligible projects include development of information boards, access roads, parking areas, trails, fishing spots, accessibility improvements for persons with reduced mobility, beaches, docks, toilets, waste facilities, planting and maintenance, and cultural heritage communication. Only local management authorities - municipalities and regional outdoor recreation councils - can apply. A mandatory requirement is that applicants have an approved management plan for the outdoor recreation area. The scheme prioritizes areas in or near cities and densely populated areas, heavily used or potentially heavily used areas, areas with limited accessible shoreline under significant pressure, and areas connected to inland waterways. Projects with co-financing or volunteer work contributions receive priority. The application deadline is December 1st annually.
