Spillemidler til idrettsanlegg
Spillemidler til idrettsanlegg is a Norwegian government funding program that provides financial support for the construction or rehabilitation of sports facilities where organized activities take place, as well as local community facilities open to everyone and outdoor recreation facilities. The program offers two main types of funding: ordinary facility grants covering 1/3 of approved costs for organized sports facilities such as sports halls, athletics facilities, golf courses, clubhouses, artificial turf fields, swimming pools, and storage buildings; and neighborhood facility grants covering 50% of approved costs up to 300,000 NOK for outdoor facilities near residential areas including multi-purpose facilities, ball courts, trails over 500m, ski slopes, fitness parks, and obstacle courses. Applications must be included in the municipality's action program for sports, physical activity, and outdoor life, which is adopted annually in November. The waiting period for funding approval is typically one to two years for ordinary facilities and maximum one year for neighborhood facilities.
