Marine Energy Fellowship: Postgraduate Track
The Marine Energy Fellowship Postgraduate Track provides recent graduates who have received their bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree within the last 24 months the opportunity to conduct marine energy research at approved host facilities. The program is designed for individuals who have conducted research, development, and/or testing in areas aligned with the H2O mission and marine research priorities. Fellows work with mentors at host facilities to conduct research virtually, hybrid, or onsite over a 12-month appointment period. The fellowship provides competitive financial support including a monthly stipend, health insurance supplement, travel and education allowance, limited tuition reimbursement, and transportation allowance for those temporarily relocating. Participants are expected to conduct research at H2O-approved host facilities, adhere to DOE ethical guidelines, exhibit professionalism, and complete all research project objectives. The program aims to support professional development in marine energy fields while advancing research that supports the mission of host facilities and DOE's marine energy priorities.
