Fritidskassa is a subsidy program offered by Asker municipality aimed at enabling more children and young people to participate in leisure activities. Organizations and associations that operate leisure activities for children and youth in Asker municipality can apply on behalf of members who need economic support. The target group is children and young people aged 0 to 24 years who require financial assistance to participate in leisure activities. Applications are processed on a rolling basis with an expected response within three weeks. The subsidy covers ordinary activities for one year from the decision date, but does not support advanced-level pursuits, one-time events, or legally mandated services.
