Discover Funding Opportunities

The Discover University of Alberta Award is renewable scholarship program designed to support domestic students entering their first year of undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta. The award provides financial assistance to students who demonstrate satisfactory academic standing, indicated financial need, and documented financial barriers to attending university. Recipients can receive up to $8,000 per year in award funding. The award is renewable for up to five years, contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic standing while enrolled in a full-time course load between September and August annually. Up to 30 new students per year are selected for this award, making it a competitive opportunity for students facing economic challenges in accessing higher education.
