This grant program supports local, regional, and national initiatives and activities to counteract racism, discrimination, and hateful expressions based on ethnicity, religion, and belief. The program aims to promote anti-racism, diversity, and dialogue, as well as increase knowledge and awareness in the majority population about racism, discrimination, and hateful expressions. Funding is provided for time-limited projects within the grant year that contribute to these goals. The program is administered by the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir) and supports voluntary organizations, faith and belief communities, municipalities, counties, and other eligible actors registered in Norway's Volunteer Registry. Project grants are available for specific initiatives such as dialogue meetings, information campaigns, videos, podcasts, websites, network building, workshops, exhibitions, guidance services, and various forms of mapping activities.

This grant program from the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir) aims to strengthen acceptance of gender and sexual diversity among the Norwegian population, improve living conditions and quality of life for people who break with norms for sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and gender characteristics, and increase activity among organizations working with this target group. This grant supports activity guides who work to help children and youth who are on the outside, participate in leisure activities. An activity guide functions as a mediator of information and support, helping to lower the threshold for participating in leisure activities. The guide can be contacted via an interest form on the internet or through contact persons in the municipality, a voluntary organization, or club/association. After a child/youth/family has expressed interest, the activity guide contacts the family to find a suitable leisure activity for the child/youth in the local community. The activity guide clarifies practical questions such as payment or need for equipment, follows the child to the leisure activity, and arranges further follow-up. The target group is children and youth aged 0-24 years who are at risk of social exclusion for various reasons, including growing up in low-income families, lacking social networks, lacking connection to school/work, or lacking participation in leisure activities.

Telemark fylkeskommune administers the Regional Culture Fund with 3.1 million Norwegian kroner available for distribution. The fund is designed to strengthen the regional cultural sector and consists of two distinct grant programs: Art and Cultural Development (2.9 million NOK) and Skills Development Honorarium Support (0.2 million NOK). The fund aims to support good local communities and an open, inclusive, and diverse cultural life throughout the region. Grant funds are intended to stimulate increased activity and participation in cultural life, strengthen collaboration between professional and volunteer cultural sectors, reinforce local and regional cultural volunteerism, and contribute to increased quality of arts and cultural offerings locally and regionally. The Art and Cultural Development program supports major arts and cultural activities that strengthen cultural life in Telemark, including activities that promote cross-disciplinary collaboration, cross-expression work, and cross-organizational partnerships. Applications must involve both amateur and professional participants and can support major activities of a permanent nature. Projects can have a duration of up to 3 years, though funding is awarded annually. The Honorarium Support program focuses on initiatives with a clear arts and cultural profile intended to contribute to competence development in cultural volunteerism, with honorarium support specifically used to compensate professional cultural practitioners in collaborative projects.

This grant supports development and maintenance projects in state-secured outdoor recreation areas and areas protected under the Marka Act in Norway. The goal is to promote outdoor recreation activities through environmentally friendly facilitation and management, making these areas easily accessible and attractive for public outdoor recreation. Eligible projects include development of information boards, access roads, parking areas, trails, fishing spots, accessibility improvements for persons with reduced mobility, beaches, docks, toilets, waste facilities, planting and maintenance, and cultural heritage communication. Only local management authorities - municipalities and regional outdoor recreation councils - can apply. A mandatory requirement is that applicants have an approved management plan for the outdoor recreation area. The scheme prioritizes areas in or near cities and densely populated areas, heavily used or potentially heavily used areas, areas with limited accessible shoreline under significant pressure, and areas connected to inland waterways. Projects with co-financing or volunteer work contributions receive priority. The application deadline is December 1st annually.

Regionalt kulturfond is a state-funded grant program administered by county municipalities in Norway. The fund aims to contribute to good local communities and an open, inclusive, and diverse cultural life. The grant stimulates increased activity and participation in cultural life, strengthens collaboration between professional and volunteer cultural sectors, reinforces local and regional cultural volunteerism, and contributes to increased quality in arts and cultural offerings locally and regionally. The fund supports three main categories: Production (enhancing quality through professional-amateur collaboration), Cooperation (strengthening cultural volunteerism through partnerships), and Culture for All (promoting diversity through recruitment and new cultural expressions). Activities must involve collaboration between professional cultural actors and volunteers, take place in Vestfold, and start in 2026.
