Tilskudd til tiltak i statlig sikret friluftslivsområde
This grant program provides funding to secure outdoor recreation areas for public use. The goal is to protect outdoor spaces for general public access and enjoyment. State funding for securing outdoor recreation areas is particularly prioritized in areas near residential neighborhoods that are easily accessible and can be used by large population groups. Applications are submitted through the Norwegian Environment Agency's electronic application center, with municipalities and intermunicipal outdoor recreation councils eligible to apply. Local associations and organizations can also initiate applications for area protection projects.
