Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune provides operational grants to organizations in the county with a clear purpose within arts, culture, sports, or outdoor recreation. The organizations must have strong regional, county-wide, or national value. The grant supports fixed operational expenses and commitments such as premises and salaries for employees. This grant program follows four-year (and two-year) planning periods and allocations are decided by the Culture and Public Health Committee. Applications undergo comprehensive assessment based on established guidelines, requirements, and priorities. Due to limited funding, not all applications that meet criteria may receive grants, and awarded amounts may be lower than requested.
