This grant program supports women-focused initiatives in reindeer husbandry in Norway. The program provides funding for organized, time-limited childcare for children below school age during periods of major reindeer herding activities. The grant covers the cost of childcare supervision, enabling participation of parents in essential reindeer herding work while ensuring children receive appropriate care and cultural education. Applications must be submitted within one month after the reindeer herding activity is completed.
