Chevening Western Balkans Cyber Security Fellowship
The Chevening Western Balkans Cyber Security Fellowship is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. It is designed for mid-career professionals from the Western Balkans who have demonstrable leadership potential in cyber security or cyber policy. Fellows will gain a deeper understanding of the policy and legislative approaches in cyber security and the corresponding implications for national security, commercial opportunity, crime prevention, and the right to privacy. The fellowship takes place at Cranfield University, at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom (Shrivenham Campus), and offers a unique opportunity for 12 exceptional candidates to develop the leadership skills necessary to tackle evolving cyber threats. Fellows will gain advanced knowledge of cyber security policies and strategies, practical skills in cyber threat assessment, risk management, and legal frameworks, as well as access to a network of cyber security experts and policymakers.
Chevening Financial Services Fellowship
The Chevening Financial Services Fellowship is an 8-week professional development programme aimed at mid-career professionals from India working in the finance sector. Hosted by King's College London, this fellowship targets individuals from government or the private sector who are mid-career professionals displaying leadership potential with demonstrable experience in relevant financial services disciplines. The programme aims to build expertise in specialist skills such as risk management, actuarial sciences, investment management, and financial regulation. It exposes participants to international financial markets and regulatory systems, promotes cross-border cooperation in financial regulation, and facilitates knowledge sharing among Chevening Award recipients. Upon completion, participants are expected to return to their professional positions of influence and continue engagement with the UK to strengthen cooperation between India and the UK in the financial sector. The fellowship is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
Call for EOIs: Strengthening Hydrometeorological Capacity under GCF/WFP Project
The WFP, in partnership with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, is implementing a multi-regional initiative to enhance climate change adaptation, disaster risk management, and food security. The program combines technical capacity-building, community engagement, and research to strengthen resilience across vulnerable populations. This initiative represents a holistic approach to climate adaptation, combining research, technical training, and community action. It covers seven regions in Kyrgyzstan including Naryn, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Chuyskaya, Issyk-Kul, Batken, and Talas. The program aims to empower vulnerable communities to make informed decisions about livelihoods, strengthen and diversify livelihoods, build multi-sectoral capacity at central and local authority levels, and climate-proof food systems through integration of climate forecasting and disaster risk management.
