This grant program provides development funding for professional artists and cultural mediators in Innlandet County, Norway, to create new productions for Den kulturelle skolesekken (The Cultural School Bag). The Cultural School Bag is a national program that gives students opportunities to experience, become familiar with, and develop understanding of professional art and cultural expressions of high quality. The program is financed by the county government and gaming revenues. Funding supports production development for new performances, workshops, film, cultural heritage, literature, music, performing arts, visual arts, and interdisciplinary art projects. Recipients must have an intent agreement with at least one school in Innlandet for showing or implementing the production. The grant does not guarantee a tour in Innlandet but supports the development phase of high-quality cultural productions for school audiences.
